Outlines expectations of honesty in assessments, the categories of academic misconduct and the procedure for investigating allegations.

Misconduct Categories

Plagiarism, collusion, contract cheating, fabrication of data, impersonation in exams and unauthorised use of generative AI in assessments.

Procedure

Allegations are investigated by a panel chaired by the Head of Department. Confirmed cases are recorded against the student record and may result in mark reduction, module failure or expulsion.
