How BUE protects the welfare of students, with a focus on confidentiality, reporting routes and at-risk monitoring.

Reporting

Concerns about a student's wellbeing can be raised via the Advising portal. The case is routed to a Designated Safeguarding Lead and acknowledged within 24 hours.

AI At-Risk Prediction

The SRS runs a weekly at-risk model using attendance, grades, engagement and academic standing. Predictions are advisory; no academic decision is taken solely on the basis of the model and students may request human review.
